Stefan Sagmeister is a well-known graphic designer and typographer of Austrian origin born in 1962. He trained at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna where he studied graphic design. His career took place between Austria, the United States, Hong Kong. With a singular and unconventional nature, he loves provocation and has a particular sense of humor. He has worked as a printer for an advertising agency and also dedicated himself to designing CD covers of well-known musicians (for example the Rolling Stones, Pat Metheny, David Byrne, Lou Reed). He created espresso cups for Illy.
